ORDINARY PEOPLE - "MEXIKANO" - art brushes digital paint - photo reference by Jennifer Nilsson

Again I thank Jennifer for the orginal photo reference. This time I pushed myself for more coraugeous brushstrokes and work with color.

Still a muddy green is my favourite complementary color. Will have to study color theory deeper to keep on going:) ..

I know that is little off from cars. I will move those paintings on specific page so I can keep this place focused on one topic.

Thank you all for your support and all the best you guys!

ORDINARY PEOPLE - "THE KID" - cs5 art brushes paint - photo reference by Jennifer Nilsson

Another attempt. This time I used photo reference done by my friend photographer Jennifer Nilsson. Such a pleasure to play with brushstrokes. Next time I think I will try much more abstraction. It is still little to much cencrete to my taste.

Added some nice greens and bluish tones to make the face pop out.

ORDINARY PEOPLE - "THE BUILDER" - cs5 art brushes paint

New CS5 art brushes are really nice. They work nice with colors and blends artisticly. A step closer to the real oil paint.

I used photo reference to do this. Drasticly introduced new colors to emhasise contrast in particular areas. Two hours of fun. I tried not to overdone this- being deliberate with every brushstroke.

Bravo Adobe for what you have done!
